Procedures & Penalties

• Payments collected at East Cocalico Township, 100 Hill Rd, Denver, can be placed in the 24/7 secure drop box.
• If you a require a receipt, MAIL ENTIRE BILL AND A STAMP SELF-ADDRESS ENVELOPE WITH YOUR PAYMENT. The top portion of your bill will be stamped and mailed back to you. Checks made payable to East Cocalico Township Tax Collector. CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED FOR TAX PAYMENTS. Checks and money orders are acceptable forms of payment.
• If you are paying your bill in person, bring your ENTIRE BILL, and the top portion of your bill will be stamped and given back to you.
• Whether paying in person or by mail, please remit one copy of your bill with your payment. Checks made payable to East Cocalico Township Tax Collector.
• If your taxes are paid out of a mortgage escrow, your escrow statement may be sufficient proof of paid taxes.

Failure to follow one of the above procedures, will result in a $5 charge if you request a paid receipt.
