COMMUNITY CONVERSATION ON HEROIN
The Lancaster County Anti-Heroin Task Force is working to combat the heroin epidemic in our community, and you are invited to come:

Drug overdose deaths in the country have more than tripled in the last four years, in large part due to the heroin scourge which plagues every local community. Last year, more than 2500 Pennsylvanians died of drug overdose.
East Cocalico Township is one of the northeastern townships of Lancaster County. It was divided from Cocalico Township in 1838. Irregularly shaped, the Township has a length of approximately 5.5 miles and an average width of 3.5 miles. The Township is named for the Cocalico Creek and the Indian Village present here when the first European settlers arrived.
Cocalico is pronounced: koh-kal-ê-koh
“Cocalico” is an anglicized pronunciation of the Indian phrase “koch-hale-kung”.
